Manhãs na cama com um namorado, pores do sol, fechar os olhos e cheirar as flores, experiências íntimas que nos fazem esquecer a passagem do tempo. Elementos do quotidiano no campo misturam-se com imagens de corpos recolhidas da internet, tornando-se referências para a construção destas cenas. A realidade é intensificada através da cor e luz dramática, enquanto o figurativo é carregado com emoção, metáfora e poesia, transmitindo experiências internas de amor, contemplação, mas também dúvida e ansiedade.
FOR A FLEETING MOMENT , 2024 is a body of 12 works depicting moments that anchor us amidst the transient nature of life. Mornings in bed with a lover, sunsets, closing your eyes to smell the flowers, intimate experiences that make us forget about the passing of time. Everyday elements from the countryside merge with collected images of bodies from the internet, becoming references for the construction of these scenes. Reality is heightened through colour and dramatic lighting, while figurative imagery becomes emotional, metaphorical and poetic, conveying inner experiences of love, contemplation, as well as doubt and anxiety.
